In the coming weeks, Gillian (Our principal) will be spending 48 hours living in a mud hut on a small island directly opposite the land where Little Creek Community Shelter is being built.
From the hut, she will be able to see the future shelter across the water.
She will be staying with a single mother and her children who recently found themselves homeless.
- This is not a stunt, this is to aid in the understanding of their reality
- It is about raising awareness
- It is about standing close enough to see the need clearly
- It is about building a shelter for a brighter future
When the shelter opens it’s doors, this mother and her children will be the first family welcomed.
Full transparency will be provided showing how all raised funds are used
